Online training courses are available for 30 days after purchase. However, once you launch the course you have 14 days from then (or until you have completed the final assessment, whichever is soonest).
Each course is made up of several lessons, which are step-locked i.e. you must complete all items in order to move on. Some items complete automatically as you scroll, others have sections that must be navigated using arrows or expanded text boxes (these will have a progress bar and clear instructional text). If you reach the end of a lesson and cannot move on, simply click on 'Check progress' in the top-right of the screen to see what is still incomplete. Clicking on any incomplete items will auto-scroll to that location so you can finish up.
Content written around specific learning objectives and theory
Responsive design for multiple devices
Responsive website design means that the HTML5 content will respond to the screen size it detects. So, if you’re looking at a course on a desktop or a mobile phone, the content will automatically detect your screen size and adjust what you see.
Printable glossary and learning highlights
These PDF documents can be printed or saved, so you are able to take away the key learning points and terms.
Interactive glossary
This offers you a quick way of navigating in and out of the glossary while working through the content.
Progress indicators
An easy way to see where you left off last time you accessed the course. Also allows you to identify and jump straight to any activity within a lesson.
Evaluative feedback for review questionsAt the end of each lesson there are three interactive questions to test what you have learned. These provide feedback to guide you to the correct answer and then to reinforce the learning point.
Final assessment module
Each course ends with an assessment of 20 questions. The questions are pulled randomly from a test bank to limit overlap if you wish to re-take the course another time. The pass mark is 80% and upon completion you will be awarded with 2 CPE/CPD credits.
Certificate of completion
Certificates of successful completion can be saved and printed from your My Learning account during your enrolment.
